Temple Management Company has announced the launch of its record label company, Temple Music with Bisola, 9ice among others listed as their foremost singers.
The record label which is also home to 2015 MTN Project Fame West Africa winner, Jeff Akoh, also disclosed in an announcement on Friday that it had gone into partnership with Roc Nation as global distributor of Temple Music.
“This is a game changer and only validates all that we stand for. Africa to the world,” said a press statement by the company.
“The pioneers of Temple Music have come together and cooked up something that the world is not ready for. “Water and Fire”- their first single which is produced by Tee- Y Mix.
“This single is just the beginning of a new vibe in the industry and we are super excited about it.”
The Big Brother Naija/ MTN Project Fame West Africa star, Bisola would be in the company of three producers Tee-Y mix, Aaron Monroe and Adey who are part of the Temple Music family.
According to reports, the first project of TMC’s ‘baby’ record label is ‘Lokoja’ a debut album of Jeff Akoh, which will be launched in October this year.
Among the producers who worked on ‘Lokoja’ are Tee-Y mix, Cobhams Asuquo, Team Salut, DJ Coublon.
Bisola’s album set to be released in 2018
It was gathered that the first runner-up of the 2017 Big Brother Naija reality show, Bisola is expected to release her debut album in 2018.
Chief Executive Officer of Temple Management Idris Olorunnimbe described the launch of the label and partnership with Roc Nation as a huge step for a Nigerian company.
“With the launch of Temple Music, we are now positioned as a uniquely Pan-African label. We will coordinate releases to synchronise in unison from Lagos to Lesotho and from Nairobi to Niamey,” he said.
Top-notch producer Tee-Y Mix has been given the responsibility of developing talents on the label and providing them with direction and production.
